The meeting of the Juvenile football which happened on Thursday, 26th September 2024, was a meeting between the various Stakeholders of the Game and Chairmen of the various RFAs to share ideas.
Discussions were made about the introduction of a new Competition for Juvenile football.
Abdulai Amidu, a stakeholder speaking with Sikka FM on 730Sports(Friday edition 27/09/2024) squashed the idea of people thinking the previous competitions of the Juvenile football will be forgotten.
This new competition which is known as The Colts Festival will go along with season’s competitions such as the KGL, inter-club, U-15 tournament among others.
The vision of this new Colts Festival is to Revive the Colts football and make it bigger than we used to know.
The festival will be Gender balanced, including U15 and U17.
It will be played like the Champions League and the FA cups’ style, not at the end or beginning of the season. A week will be set aside every month for the festival, He said.
The Colts Festival will be played in all Regions and finals will be moved To Prampram.
