I would rather give to charity than have BBL surgery- Wendy Shay

Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has indicated a preference for donating her money to charitable causes rather than utilizing it to fund a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.

In a recent interview on 3Music on July 23, 2025, she highlighted that while undergoing BBL is a personal decision, she would rather allocate her resources to support philanthropic endeavors.

Wendy Shay expressed her support for personal autonomy, noting that individuals who wish to undergo BBL should be free to make their own choices.

This statement follows her previous denial of undergoing BBL herself, citing natural weight gain as the reason for her curves and maintaining that her figure is 100% natural.

“It’s no offense to people who have BBL. If you want to have BBL, that’s your choice. But personally, I would have used that money to donate to people” she said.

The “Too Late” hitmaker, Wendy Shay, underscored her commitment to the music industry, affirming that her focus is on selling her music, rather than utilizing her physical appearance.

According to her, her artistic talent and abilities are the primary factors that make her appealing, thereby eliminating the need for cosmetic procedures like BBL to enhance her appearance.

 

 

“I don’t need it and like I said, I don’t even see the craze about it because when you die, it’s food for the maggots. That’s why I don’t focus on that. I’m here for music; I’m here to sell music and not my body,” she stated.
